Electrosmog rising...

During february 1996 48 371 cellular telephones were sold in Sweden. Last year 860 000 mobile phones were sold, that means that one out of ten Swedes bought one just that year! This includes ALL citizens, including children and retired, Sweden has a population of 8 600 000. Stockholm is by far the most dense city in the world with respect to cellular phone users.

In 1995, 2.1 million (47%) Swedes worked with computers out of a total workforce of 4.5 million workers. Compare this with the last survey done 1989 when 1.4 million had a computer at work. The increase is even more drastic at our homes, 1989 we had 0.5 million computers at home, 1995 we had 1.4 million, one out of six Swedes thus have a computer at home. Taken together we have 3.5 million computers with a population of 8.6 million, i.e. 40%!!!
